sw florida... is there too much rain?

hi guys, i just moved to sw FL and i am anxious to go out and find some wild specimens as i have a handfull of cow and horse fields around the area.. the question i have is that it has been raining a lot around here the past few weeks or so, due to the hurricans and what not. but it has calmed down to about once a day for an hour. and the temps are reaching in the mid 90s. is there any way that the wild cubes will be able to fruit?? anyone in south FL finding anything out there? i've been hunting a few times with no avail. thanks

unless the field is completely under water theres a good chance youll find some with that kind of weather. i would be out looking every day as long as its raining.

psilocybe cubensis and copelandia cyanescens mainly, you should research all the florda actives and learn to know them now that your here. look these up, Florida actives
Panaeolus subbalteatus
Psilocybe caerulescens
Psilocybe cubensis
Psilocybe mammilata
Psilocybe tampanensis
Copelandia cyanescens
Copelandia chlorocystis
Gymnopilus luteofolius

I live in central fl and when it seems to rain less that's when I don't find those big harvest I love when it rains then stops for a day or two
Just get out there and look if not for cubes then copes I heard they do better In warmer temps

i'm going to have some homework to do tonight!! thanks guys... i think i'll go out in an hour or so... i wish i knew of a feild that i could go hunt in the day, maybe soon enough. i was thinking about finding a feild and posing as an ecology student that's doing a soil test and asking the farmer if i could take some soil samples from his feild. but we'll see.

i went out to visit 3 fields today and 2 of them were underwater :confused: then the last field i went to had patties everywhere but no shrooms.  i wonder if there just aren't any shrooms growing in the field or it's just the wrong time??  it's been raining a lot but has stopped for the past 2 days... i dunno, maybe go looking for another field tomorrow.
