Hunting Tech Tips that will cover your ass!

Hey all,
I figured I would start a thread about Hunting Techniques.
I have a few things I do that seem to "not" draw negative attn. on to myself.
*I have a nice pasture I hunt on a regular basis... Its along side a creek.
So I pack up my fishing pole so I fit right in as a fisherman on his way down the creek looking for that Lunker Bass.

*I also have a nice rubber made box in a back pack. This way I can get the mushrooms in a nice sealed box that can be stored in my back pack and not a bag that I'm carrying!
This way your shrooms are safe and out of sight.

*Get a camera! Keep it at hand.. Boom your now a newbe photographer!

*The worst thing you can do is go out with a bunch of friends.
I prefer to hunt alone or with one friend...

*I wear greens and tans and khaki's..
Don't be out in a pasture with a frikkin Neon Grateful Dead shirt on!

*I have one of my dog's leash's in my back pack.. A few months ago I had a guy come up to me in a field and as me what I was doing. I had enough time to reach in my bag and pull out the leash.. I said I was looking for my dog that took off after a cow! This was just a stroke of pure thinking on my toes.. The guy reply with a "Hope you find him!" and he walked off!

I'm not saying that if you do all this you wont get pop ed!
But if you slow down and think a lil, You may be approached by someone. But you will have a couple good excuses to fall back on!
Be a nature nut! Have the camera out!
Smile say hey to folks!
Don't keep your head down and act scared then they will think you are up to something!

And don't be Paranoid!

OK that's a few of my tricks what's yours?

Great tips, and very good knowledge to have.
I've learned all that over the last few years. Some lessens were easy, and some were hard. All in all, if you stay clear headed you will be fine.
