What do doctors have to say about colon cleansing

I just read a fucked up webpage I saw on OTD
"The Death That Existed Inside Me" http://drnatura.com/picture_gallery.html
What the fuck? How can all that shit exist inside someone's colon? What are the medical ramifications of all this colon cleansing? After 2 months was he even passing "colon buildup" or was he fucking shitting out intestinal walls and things he shouldn't be shitting out?
I'm really curious about this but a little hesitant. Those pictures are really intense.

It doesn't seem that stupid. They way they approach it does make a lot of sense. Clean OUT the problems as opposed to applying things TO the problem.

Conventional doctors don't believe it. They aren't educated about it. It's not a sexy subject of medical study and so it's very neglected. That's a shame considering how important the colon is. I have seen the photos also and websites where people talk about "mucoid plaque" or what they call "ropes" come out of people.
Basically the body is not able to properly digest some foods/toxins so it sits in our colons and rots. This attracts parasites that feed upon it in an attempt to break it down. The intestine, in an attempt to protect these toxins from circulating back into the blood, creates a layer of mucus which walls off the material from the surface of the colon. Like any material in the colon overtime water is absorbed from it and it becomes hard and rubbery, sometimes having the apperance of truck tire rubber. This layer prevents the proper absorption of nutrition and helps create that "spare tire" look. When people joke about "spare tires" they don't realize how true that is!
Also, over time the layers can become thicker causing the colon to swell and create fissures that allow toxins to seep through the gut into the bloodstream spreading toxins throughout our bodies. It is known as "toxic megacolon". This can result in any number of diseases and conditions. Some doctors feel toxicity is the cause of virtually all diseases. The body simply cannot handle these foreign substances and will attempt to deposit them and wall them off.
When MP (mucoid plaque) comes out of the body its shape naturally reflects the bends and curves of the colon and resembles a hollow sausage skin. I can post some pictures, but they are not for the faint of heart..

I've never done one, but I have ordered some herbs that should do the job. There are a number of products available. If I have any stuff like that in me I want it out ASAP.
Here is a forum where people talk about it. Curezone.com, the main site, has tons of forums on all types of natural remedies.

Im also interested in hearing more about this. All the products I have seen are like $100 that seems a little expensive to me. What are the herbs and where can someone get the clay shit they use cheaper? I really want to crap out one of those things and take a pic.

If I was going to buy something, it'd probably be this.

It's not way expensive, and apparently they have a lot of fans. I HOPE they don't lie THAT bad on their website. I have more faith in humanity than that.

Yeah man. I really do believe out diets have probably caused untold amounts of bullshit to happen to our colons. I am never really ever ready to eat food..I always feel full or gassy or something gay like that.

I have never tried the P&B shakes, but have read a lot of people's stories about trying them. Some people had good results, others didn't. Some had to do it for weeks before anything (ropes) happened.
Just make sure you drink lots of water with them to keep the ole' pipes from backing up- a common complaint amongst those who use that method.
I think my herbs will be here Saturday so Sunday I'll start mine.

We'll all have to meet back here when we're done. We should have enough ropes to start a rodeo!

I'm by no means an expert, but what I've ordered and am going to use is an herbal kit put together by Blessed Herbs. It is pretty expensive (85$ I think) but on the forums I mentioned seems to get the most consistent results. I didn't hear from anyone it didn't work for. The herbs in the formula were put together with thoughtfulness by an expert herbalist to maximize results and minimize or eliminate (no pun intended) discomfort. It calls for a fast, but its not essential. But they say it is more effective that way.
There is also something called Colonix which I can't vouch for and the P&B shakes mentioned earlier in this thread.
One scary aspect of this is the subject of parasites. It seems that this mucoid plaque attracts them. In a way they help break it down. I pray to god I don't have any of the little bastards in me. But many people who got ropes noticed little worms attached to them.

To say that doctors aren't educated about it is naive. You think physicians don't want to study something because it's not sexy??? There are doctors who do nothing but look up people's asses. There are doctors that do nothing but carve up corpses. There are doctors that do nothing but look at STDs.
freddurgan, feel free to consult any physician about this. They will all tell you the same thing: this mucus zorbamn mentioned is a myth. There has NEVER been any sort of scientific evidence of its existence. Ask people who have done 5,000 colonoscopies if they've ever seen this mucus. The answer will be no. Ask pathologists who do autopsies if they've ever seen it. Answer will be no. Ask surgeons who operate on the colon if they've ever seen it. Answer will be no.
Tests have been done on these bullshit treatments. The alleged 'mucus' that comes out of you is a cast made by the ingredients of the enema.
As HeavyToilet pointed out, this is just people out to make money off new age naivety.
If you want a healthy colon, eat healthy, lots of vitamins, exercise, don't overdo it on the booze.
