crazy trip to canada/wemf/my first rave/ met sykobish

sooo this starts friday when after recently quitting my job i decide to drive 5 hours to canada to get a free wemf ticket
drive went smooth, gas is fucking too expensive though.. the border crossing was no problem at all.
driving through canada was cool, lots of green, out of the control of pres bush. i noticed evryone in canada speeds. they dont seem to be scared of getting pulled over. in fact, i didnt see one person pulled over
the google maps got me lost at the end, but i was in orangeville (where wemf was) so i just asked a friendly canadian mountee where to go , he said "ohhh eh, going to the rave eh?" gave me perfect directions.
i get to wemf, meet up with zippoz, totally unorganized at the gate, took me like 2hrs to get in
i fill my bookbag with beer, start drinking and we go to check out the music
ive never been to a rave before, it was crazy, LOUD electronic music and just hundreds of people dancing all crazy, glow sitcks, lights.
i continued pounding back beers and we went looking for gillette
couldnt find her, so i called her, she sounded barely coherrent and had no idea who i was.
we went to her tent and she was in there, totally WASTED , she funneled a whole bunch of hypnotiq.
i of course shined a flashlight in her face and took a picture :tongue:

rest of the night was kind of a blur, drank a whole bunch more, walked around handing out shroomery cards
i was sticking cards in people's pockets, sticking them in people's spikey hair. getting the word out :smile:

then somehow i made i back to my car and fell asleeep

i woke up the second day around 9:30am, basically when i heard the electronic music blaring everywhere around me
most of the day i spent hanging with gillette and zippoz in the ridiculously hot sun getting a nice burn
zippoz had his dj tables going most of the day, different peeps were stopping by to spin
i got a party favor from some dude later in the afternoon, figure i might as well get the total rave experience
gillette had to leave, went to another rave, guess it was the very last "hullabulloo" (sp?)
at about 9:30 pm i swallowed my party favor and sat by zippoz table, kind of just spacing out
walked up to the rave later to check out mixmaster mike, was waaaaaaaaay too hot , my sunburn was flaring and i turned bright red
went back to zippoz table , was getting pretty fucked up at that point
zippoz table shutdown bout 1am and we all walked up to see rabbit in the moon
rabbit in the moon is fucking CRAZY!!! they have huge video screens going, lights, music, people in costumes bouncing around on stage. at one point the played this video of john ashcorft speaking and everyone was booooing, but as he spoke his head kept morphing into an alien face. later this dude came out covered in these long glow sitcks, and stage dived, everyone pulled the glow things off of him , he went back on stage and had the whole crowd spinning em at once, i was blown away.
after that i went in this "hardcore" room, really cool music, i actually danced a bit, i was pretty fucking gone at that point
came out of there was standing by the bathrooms cooling down when i saw SYKOBISH!!!!! instantly iwas like ohhh shit, ohh shit, she sees me, trouble, gonna get yelled at. she came up asked if i was kott, and was totally nice to me. shook my hand. she asked if she could take zippoz and my picture...she took what might be the goofiest pic of me, EVER, i was beyond wasted and bright red like a lobster. syko then goes into the bathroom ,comes out and just hands me another party favor, for free :cool:

then said if we needed anything, it was on the house, just let her know. also invited us to dance told us where she would be. very cool.
so i ate the 2nd favor, and it definently doubled my fun :smirk:

i spent most of the rest of the night wnadering, dancing in the hardcore room.
i walked outside hours later, it was fucking light out!@!!!!!!!! couldnt believe that shit
i hung with zippoz till about 8am when he wne to sleep, i was still going strong on the party favors
the sun was already starting to get hot, i realized there was noooo fucking way i was gonna sleep, sun , loud noise....so i left
i crossed the border from canada to the US still feeling the effects of the favors :laugh:

, driving was pretty fun. turned the satellite radio to an electronic station and sped the whole way home

it was fun, the rave seen is crazy...i saw some fucked up things ..i couldnt do that every weeked. not really my scene. i would definently attened another though. we passed out plenty of shroomery cards , so maybe some peeps will sign in :grin:
