Look up vacutioners on ebay and/or google...get the ones with the red cap as they have nothing inside of them. Not the same thing, but may be good enough for what you want. Those are actually pretty cool though...40ml jar with self healing injection point with sterile LC water already to go and a reasonable price..

I think what scat meant was "vacutainer". Just search for BD vacutainer tubes.

Why waste your time looking for those little containers when you could just follow this tek and get all the stuff you need from wally world for under $10 , including a self healing injection point. I used 1ml instead of the suggested 2ml and got an great liquid culture.

Hi HippieChick hows it?
I was actually talking about the ones in the link there that has the vacutainers with sterile LC water inside. All you do is inject some spores. Cool.
But I also agree with ya on the Vacutainers. I get a damn good deal on them and I like the idea of storing the LC for years if needed.
Although, I doubt I'd need to... lol.
Bye the way, did you find out if that LC of yours that got a little frozen survive? I now fear that mine will freeze too if I it gets a little too cold in the fridge.
Would storing them in a dark closet rapped in foil still keep them for long term ok ya think?

I had them pushed to the back behind something. That's why they froze. I'm going to use them today on two cakes. Will definitely post the results in a few days.
