Foggy Fireworks
    #4371974 -

"Oh no!", my friend lamented as we drove to the beach at twilight. "The coast is socked in by a heavy marine layer which will negatively impact our pyrotechnic viewing."

Despite his bitching, the heavy fog made the most amazingly psychedelic display I have ever seen. Many of the fireworks exploded in the fog creating eerie and diffused pastel colors then the sparkly bits would drop from beneath the glowing cloud with the kaleidoscopic colors reflected in the harbor below.  :mushroom2:

North ands south of us were two more fireworks displays so that we could take in three sights from one vantage point. Wow!

Sorry folks, no pictures. :frown:

Happy 4th to all.

Heh. I would have like to have tripped and watched the fireworks display... something ive never done.

What was funny was, when we finally got to the location of where the fireworks were, we were on the side of the road.

We see this lady walking away, and she says "apparently you can make up your own rules in this country!" ... I ask the police officer standing right behind us "is it okay if we park here?" , he then replies "Pretend like you didnt ask me that, and i cant tell you to leave". "okay "
