when i was camping in the poconos we found a spider that lived in a hole in the ground. we captured it and it looked like a miniature tarantula. it was fuckin huge. anyone know what it is?

i was tripping really hard...Fighting the whole experience. I was laying on an outside couch. I spider started crawling on the couch and climbed onto my chest. I just stared at it and almost felt good about it chilling with me.

But i normally dont like big spiders.

That other thread was fucking nasty. Why didnt the guy get it looked at before it ate away its skin to the bone...?

I believe I know where the pictures from that brown recluse thread came from. I don't recall the exact address, but I'm pretty sure the pictures were posted on a company website.

The company sells some kind of "medicine" for the brown recluse bite. Even though I don't think an official one exists.  :rolleyes:

As said before, a very small percentage of people experience a necrotic bite of that magnitude, and a lot of people will experience almost no effect at all from being bitten.

Brown recluses inhabit most of the United States, and many people live years with them without ever being bitten. They are not aggressive, and they are reclusive as their name states.

There is nothing to be scared of. You leave them alone, they'll leave you alone.
