opportunity
    #4358301 - 07/01/05 04:33 AM (11 years, 10 months ago)

ive been invited to go experience a bona fide religious native american peyote ritual... ive had low doses of mescaline before but, this set and setting is going to be incredible...

im very excited, and a little anxious at the same time.

has anyone here ever sat in on, or experienced a peyote ceremony?

i havent but i am very excited for you.

will you be experiencing a sit in "sweat" on this journey?  if so, have a great time leaving your body without the psychedlic nature of fungus, maybe you could have peyote effects at this time, that might be key, lol.

share your enlightenment  that is, when the time comes ... or diminishes,

--------------------
A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.

I've sat in and participated in a Cherokee healing ceremony...it was very cool. No drugs were involved but the simple chants and dances made my mind feel like a clean slate. I can't imagine a peyote experience under a shaman's guidance. Have a blast man

They showed a peyote ritual in the southeast on the Nat Geo channel once; they were sucking it up their nose. I don't think I could handle peyote, more power to you.

Wow Tod, go for it, that'll be one of the most amazing experiences of your life.
