shroom newbie - are these shrooms?

I live in the Welsh valleys here in the UK and I stumbled accross a field today boasting a good number of what I think maybe Liberty Cap's..I have only taken mushrooms a few times and so I am not 100% sure of their edibility so I am going to ask a few friends of mine who know alot more about it thatn me...I have included a picture here of a few of the mushrooms incase any of you can help identify them. Thanks fr your help and sorry for my "novice" post!

look as though they could be. will definitely need more pictures for a positive id. also, try taking a spore print, and seeing if it is black or dark purple.

can't id for sure, but are those stained THAT blue? or is that bad lighting? If they changed to that deep blue/purple chances are they're active, but never eat anything that you aren't 100% sure about

Liberty caps -correct me if im wrong - due to their low psilocin content, dont stain very blue at all...

Sorry but those do not look like lib caps.... And yeah, this should be in the mushroom hunting forum....

Not all libs bruise blue, that is true.....

Bluemeanie: I thought libs where quite potent? In my book of british mushrooms it has it second only to p. Cyans which are supposed to be very potent.

Libertycaps DO stain blue..and they are very high in psilocybin, but not in psilocin though...

Those look like inky caps or mica caps. Pretty common, not active.

those arnt libs,
but lots of libs do stain blue actually.and some just ARE blue. i picked a patch the other day of about 20 VERY blue libs.they were beautiful. it almost depends on the field or something. you could pick one place and not have any blueing on your libs,but the next day hit up another spot and like 80% of your libs are blueing. so if you pick the field where the blueing is 80% you would say that libs DO blue all the time.but if you picked the field all the time where the libs dont blue,you would think that they never blue. so i think it depends on the location.
