Any light that emulates the blue spectrum. You can find lights like that in a hardware store.. they're used for growing plants.. i think the box says something like Grow-Lux.. Theres probably a bunch of light companies.. But thats the name that my store sells ;)

PS. I'm not too sure about the cake question. Thats the stage I'm on now and its my first time :)

Sorry I was stoned the first time I replied ;) I can actually answer your cake question. Cotton like mycelium is fine.. tis the same i have goin on right now. I think that if it looks all tumory and bumpy and is going to pin then its good. I dont think the mycelium touching each other will have any negative effect what-so-ever.
