No knowledge is purely true if all its structure can't be determined. What we think we really know, the scientific truth, is just a structure created to support a certain view of knowledge about this reality. Its imperfect and incomplete rationality is bounded to his imperfect and incomplete creator. Its result it's a mere expression of our understanding about the interaction between what we know and what we perceive.
Can science perceive the whole reality in a certain moment in time ?

Superstitions are hard to kick.

Sometimes I feel the darkness watching me... even though I know that's just me projecting. My track record of never being hurt/touched/attacked/etc. by the darkness doesn't even matter. Projection of the fear of the unknown. It's harder to reject the fear of an unknown when there is a physical dimension (in this case, lack of sight). Abstract fears (i.e. fear of fire-breathing dragons) are easier to deal with because there's never any experiential confrontation.

What the fuck were we talking about?
