Transporting Cakes Tonight
    #4305818 - 06/16/05 10:11 PM (18 years, 9 months ago)

My friend needs to get rid of some cakes for safety purposes and I volunteered to take them. We live close together so I can just walk over. Are there any special precautions I need to take?

Don't let them get too beat up, that's about it.

Put them in a thermos and fill it with h20. It'll help save the cakes from getting all battered around and shit.

thats a bit of overkill, if they're in jars then they will be fine, if they've
been birthed, plastic bag with most of the air removed is the way to go

Thermos is less conspicous than a plastic bag. to be honest with you, if i see a guy carrying a plastic bag i think (gotta be a bow or 2 in that bag).

if that plastic bag is in a grocery bag, there is no suspicion at all...

I always assume it's someone bringing home groceries but then again I never was normal.

Thanks for the tips, my friend and I carefully carried them over in a big icebox with lots of padding. They seem ok and they're now growing in my closet
