Ultrasonic vs. Cool Moiusture Humidifier

This has been really confusing me...maybe im just obsessing too much over this fact, but is the ultrasonic humidifier ideal because it has the option of controlling the humidity levels? Because if so I have a cool moisture one that has humidity control and can control the stregnth of the blast. I;m a complete newb at this, and i'm going for the third setup in the "The Magic Mushroom Grower's Guide" and wanted to know if their would still be any drawbacks to using the cool moisture as opposed to the recommened ultrasonic.
