Faster Colonization?

Are there any techniques to encourage rapid growth within a jar? I am already doing the loosened lid and inversion tech. Anything else that may help, temps range from about 80-83.

1 teaspoon of honey per quart jar speeds myc growth so i have read. i have implamented this technique into my growing experience but still have come up with zero jars total in the past 4 months. go figure. but the sugar content in the substrate will help growth, much like honeywater will grow suspended mycellium.
