Actually a fox would have made a much bigger mess, not to mention on the bugs and maggots.

This is much prettier than dead animals in the wild, my recommendation is go for a nature walk and see what 'nature' does when it kills animals.

It's no more offensive than a picture of a decapitated or dead human to me.

We are all animals, after all. A picture of one dead animal seems no worse than a picture of another.

so you're inferring that animals killing animals is ok?

what the hell do you think we are? just because our brains are bigger and we build planes and cars and crap doesnt mean for a second that we're not animals. we kill eachother every day, for territory, to be the alpha male, and for any number of reasons that mirror the animal kingdom. not to say we all do, but there are definitely a big pile of us that do.

i'm an animal, and i'm ok with that. dont think that you're not an animal, too.

Ultimately the issue here is that 'offensive' is so relative that if you had cropped the photo just to show the pigs head you'd likely get a very similar response. To look at this another way, you could ask if any picture of any dead thing is offensive. Are images of death offensive? Well the dictionary says offensive means abusive and disrespectful. However there's a second definition that states that offensive can also be anything repulsive. And let's face it, the planet's FILLED with repulsive things.

A little bit gross, reminds me of lord of the flies from highschool, but mostly stirs feelings of hunger. I'm fucking hungry. Now I'm craving bacon too.
