I've never heard that one before. If she ever did do anything like that, it was probably to get medical supplies to the desparately ill in India and/or bribes to get these supplies through corrupt Indian customs officials. The woman herself pretty much died in poverty......

Where did you get those numbers?

I found Hitler was responsible for the death of 6 million civilians, give or take a handful.

For Stalin, I've seen ranges between 8 and 20 million. Stalin ordered the mass killings of over 20,000 innocent Poles within a couple days. But who really knows? The USSR went on for so long that much might have been destroyed.

The real question though, is who would win in a boxing match? Hitler or Stalin?

He killed over 20 million Russians, they had the highest death toll of any nation in the war. The 6 million figure is Jews in concentration camps only. Roughly 50 million people died in WW2.

Are you just including civilians? A reference said 6 million people total, though this may be just within his own territories, as he did surely kill people in Russia.

I think it was probably quite a bit less than 6 million Jews though, as quite a few historians believe also.

As for the boxing match, my money would be on Stalin. Hitler seemed like he had great stamina and a quick mind, but he doesn't seem like the strong, steel boxer Stalin would be. Stalin looks like one of those guys where you'd punch him in the chin and break your fist.

I think he was born in modern day georgia. Funny how nationalists dictators dont often directally come from the nation they lead. Hitler was from austria, Napeolon from corissica, I think Mousilini was from a disputed land near slovania. Oh yea alexander the great wanst from greece either....

Im not sure where you draw the lines with Russian civilians... Hitler was planning on turning Moscow into a lake, and destroy every one who lived there. The Red army would send "troops" (young farm boys) to the front, and didnt even give them all guns, they had to take a gun from another dead soldier. 1 million people died in the siege of Leningrad alone. They were civilians fighting for there lives, does that make them "combatants"? I dont know...nor do I think its relevant. A person is a person, and Hitler killed 30 million of them.
