Any other pubbers out there listen to the NIN?

ive always thought it was good music. My GF(up in the air right now) is obsessed with them. So ive got all this NIN on my computer and of course im depressed and confused over this whole situation and started up some NIN cause that what she would always listen to when she was like this.

I find i have a newfound love for NIN.....i guess i can somehwat relate to a lot of the pain in the music.

Anyone else know where im coming from? she came over today for a bit so i could give her something and she was crying...i guess she is still confused as to what she wants. So i called her back up and asked her if it was over for real cause i needed to know for my sanity and she said she didnt know.....man its killing me....i feel like a peice of my soul is dying....i need some drugs :/

That album was a great followup to the Fragile. "Leaving Hope" is a monstrously cathartic masterpiece.

I kind of like it, ok. Trent is a talented cat. After a while, it seemed that SOME of NIN stuff,"ran together" but I still can't hate on it. I will tell you this much, I've NEVER been in a strip club that wasn't playing NIN. Whatever that means???

NIN is, or was, one of my favorite bands...or guys. I'm not a big fan of With Teeth, but I like everything before it. Even if he is a fourty year old emo bastard.

i used to be a big fan. now never really put it on myself, but still dig it. further down the spiral (i think it is mostly alternative versions/remixes of the downward spiral) sticks out as a favourite album.

With Teeth i could dig, even if it was missing some of the raw-energy of previous NIN albums

The Downward Spiral. The Fragile. Pretty Hate Machine. And All That Could Been. Broken. All the other CDs are singles releases with a few remixes or remix CDs. I don't like those.

I'd go with And All That Could Have Been first. Then TDS, The Fragile. And All That Could Have Been is a professionally recorded live CD with a mix of songs from the LPs.

And shit. I didn't know I bumped a four month old thread either. I hate it when that happens.

downward spiral is the pinnacle of his art...it's so fucking amazing.

the other albums are great, but downward spiral is trent's masterpiece in my opinion.

The song lyrics to "the downward spiral" are great, with a nod to mushrooms

They were my favorite band for years (high school) then I lost interest, but saw them twice on their tour just recently and it was sweet. :thumbup: I love em all over again.
