one of my friends from when I was a kid had a tree like that in his yard... scared the bajesus out of me just lookin at it. I couldn't stop thinking "why in the world would you plant this tree anywhere near you"

edit: though it is an awsome tree, in it's own way. Best example of evolution I've ever seen. Tree gets eaten by animal for 5,000 years, tree grows spikes to stab animals in face.

Hey that is pretty cool looking. I wish I had a camera because I have these crazy ass looking spike trees on this mountain by my house. One day, I will get a camera, and bump this thread.

That tree looks like it's slowwwwllly trying to evolve into a walking tree. Talk about evolution, alright.. Savagely spiked trees and root-legged trees, damn.
