Instruments and Fruity Loops 5?
    #4236803 - 05/30/05 03:46 PM (11 years, 6 months ago)

I wanna try makin patterns with my flute. But I dont know how to approach this, first thing would be how the hell I record it. Another would be how I apply a recording to the software, this id probably be able to figure out, but im still new to this software. Should I wait till I become more friendly with fruit loops till I start experimenting with my own instruments and computer music? Some constructive criticism would be nice.

hello,
you don't have to record them on fruity.
there are a lot of softwares on net which gives you the ability to record quality sounds.
your microphone is another factor.i would say buy a good microphone.
you can also record sounds on another production programmes like cubase.
good luck

when fruity loops 3 was out i used a mike i bought at toys r us that came with some nickolodian sound manipulation. i saved the recordigns of my guitar and my friends on wav files then used the sequencer in fruity loops to time the wav files... the nickolodian software also let me maniupltate the wavs to make them short long and add efffects.... some poeple like acid pro and expensive stuff like that... its all fun though... send me an mp3 when you finish one!

I would say get the demo for soundforge 7 or 8 or whatever they are on currently.

Me and Eo.S use a busted ass cool edit 96 demo still. That program turned in to adobe audition, but we like the muti-instance feature of 96.
