The Yawn and the Sneeze...
    #4229222 -

These are completely involuntary acts that happen everyday, and for a brief second you kind of lose complete control of your body. Today, I had a brief OOB experience while sneezing. It was just a jolt that lasted less than a second probably.
So, now I have been really focusing on that brief moment where the body is in complete control of itself, bypassing your own will. A yawn, not so much, but a sneeze definitely; and in this moment of the body bypassing the mind, you can really have a spiritual moment. Yes you can do this without sneezing, but it is a good catalyst and also now makes me enjoy sneezing and yawning.

The sneeze is the second most pleasurable natural bodily sensation for me. Second only to the legendary orgasm.

I can take control and stop a sneeze when it's coming on, as I think most people can. But I can't stop it from coming on. And I don't want to stop it when it does. I've never had a sneeze send me into a OOBE though. That would be nice.

Reading this caused a series of yawns for me. The birds are starting to chirp. Time to go to bed I think. I've got a good day planned for tomorrow.  I'm a bit eager for it to arrive.

Something interesting to try:

When a person sneezes, they reflexively close their eyes. Next time you're about to sneeze, try to keep your eyes open; you'll find it difficult to impossible.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Try allergies out for sort.

Sneezing 400 times a day makes it very much un-enjoyable, even though the occational momentarily liberation from my stupid self kinda ways up.

The yawn is the abyss, the multiple arrays of reality telling you to skip downward until you reach unconsciousness or "sleep" :p

Your brain doesn't need air, your just sick and tired of being what you are and where you are. The yawn is a wakeup-call.

I tend to agree...

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

yes, but try to really become aware, and focus, on/during that split second of loss of control of the body when you sneeze.

I call sneezes "Nose Orgasms"....!
I know a woman that sneezes when she looks at a bright light....  Now if sneezing is a function of getting stuff out of your nose, why would she sneeze from looking at light....?    Literally, I was outdoors with her and her husband was jumping out of a plane to skydive....  As she kept looking up, she kept sneezing uncontrolably - I was there to see this myself....    And she does not have allergies....

Yawns are very interesting, and they are contagious....  A long time ago I did mushrooms, and they seem to make me yawn....  While I kept yawning over and over, a vision of one of those little mushroom statues from Mexico and other "primitive" cultures popped into my head....    The ones I have seen almost always have the little guy facing upwards, and those ones have the little guy with his mouth opened - like he may be yawning....

The other "body function" I have always wondered about is the "shake" after you take a pee....    It seems "automatic", and sends a chilling shiver up yer~ spine, and it kinda~ feels good in a strange sort of way....    I would like to know what that is all about....!

I have never sneezed from looking at bright light, and I look at the sun directly for a short moment almost every day....    HHhhhmmmm....    I had never heard of this till that one woman I know did it, and now more people are coming out of the woodwork...!

As for the pee/shaking thing, I had some thoughts that is was because you just excreted the warm pee, but it is not getting replaced by something cold....  All your internal organs just compensate by filling in the space left....  It seems to be more of one of those involuntary actions of the human brain/mind....    Seems like you would be shaking all the way thru the pee'ing, but it is always(for me) a few seconds AFTER the flow stops....    That is why I find it perplexing....!

why then do i yawn and never become tired enough to sleep?
why do i fall sleep without ever yawning before-hand?
and why would people still yawn all morning long after a good nights' rest?
