Pentagon Recalls Koran-Flushing Toilet by Scott Ott
(2005-05-26) -- In response to appeals from consumer advocate Ralph Nader, the Pentagon today recalled thousands of military toilets because they may be powerful enough to flush a copy of the Koran.
"If that toilet generates enough force to take down a book of several hundred pages," said Mr. Nader, "then it poses a clear and present danger to prisoners at Guantanamo and to our troops worldwide."
Mr. Nader, who became famous in the late 1960s by declaring the Chevrolet Corvair 'unsafe at any speed', said, "I would rather drive a Corvair at top speed on figure-8 track than take my chances on this turbo-flush toilet. It's unsafe for any deed, and may constitute a violation of the Geneva Conventions."
In fact, U.S. troops around the world have privately complained of the dangers posed by the plumbing fixture they call an 'I.I.D.' -- Improvised Implosive Device.
"It's a swirling vortex of death," said one unnamed soldier. "The other day, I lost a grenade, my helmet and hardcover copy of 'War and Peace' in one fell swoop."
The Pentagon statement praised U.S. troops for "their willingness to perform their duty in the face of such risk."

Jailed Journalist Reports NY Times Desecration by Scott Ott
(2005-07-09) -- Law enforcement authorities in major U.S. cities put riot police on high alert today after recently-jailed journalist Judith Miller complained that prison guards had desecrated her copy of The New York Times.
"We know that journalists worship the Times," said one deputy police chief, "If they take to the streets in protest, things could get ugly fast."
Ms. Miller, who works for the Times' counter-intelligence department, told an unnamed visitor that her copy of the revered 'Gray Lady' had been carelessly tossed on the floor, handled by a conservative Republican jailer (who she called 'an infidel') and may have been used as a lining for a cat's litter box.
"They did everything but flush it down the toilet," she said. "They have no respect for the 'paper of record', may it publish forever, nor for the wise and powerful ones who create this daily miracle."
Wednesday, a judge sentenced Ms. Miller to jail for obstructing a federal investigation into who leaked the identity of a covert CIA operative, Valerie Plame, who also posed for pictures in a top-secret issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

These morons think they're gaining points to get into paradise. The ultimate for them is to die in jihad, be glorified by their terrorist neighbors and get into paradise automaticly bypassing judgement.

BrAiN said: Why is it.. if one person flushes pages of the koran down the toilet.. the whole world protests against the united states as a whole and shit hits the fan.. ppl kill one another... burn everything in site
But if there was an incident with the visa versa... and a christian protested a muslim burning a bible.. that christian would be seen as 'insensitive'?
Because some people are cowards and want to appease Islamic terrorists who are far more evil than the worse Nazis.
