Sterilizing dunking water?

Does my dog need to sterilize the water if i want to dunk some cakes? or can he just add some hydro peroxide?

I used the dunking tek w/filtered tap water.....everything is working fine so far.....

nah.... as l-ong as the cake is fully colonized, regular tap water should be just fine
