help ID a known active shroom

Its my first post here at shroomery (i've been lurking for a while).
I recently picked a boatload of these little babies. I cant give a picture because i dont have a camera, but i will describe them as well as i can.

Found in western west virginia in grassy areas of a low lying wooded area.
Gills are light to dark brown and attached to the stem (though at first glance they appear not to be)
Caps are circular and wavy when mature (sometimes folded in half when highly mature) They are a light chocolate brown when fresh, but lighten to a creamy white (especially near the edges of the cap) when left out to dry overnight. caps average 1-2 inches across
Stems are white and hollow stading 1-3 inches tall on average.
Spores are very dark brown.
The caps and stems bruise blue when handled.
They grow in late spring and early summer after rain and warm weather.

I know that it is unintelligent to eat shrooms without a positive identification, but many friends and i have been eating them for several summers now without any ill effects. They pack a pretty nice punch. I have looked in several mushroom ID guides, but have not had success finding these in any books i've read. While I know it is hard to know for sure what something is without a picture, perhaps someone could suggest a few possibilities, and i could look at pictures on the net to see if i can put a name to my little fungi friends. Thanks.
EDIT:
By folded in half i mean that the waviness of the cap is so extreme that it has "waved" itelf so that the two sides of the mushroom cap are touching each other.

Also, is P. caerulipes sometimes called the "Blue Foot" mushroom? i've heard them called this before

ok the info in the hunting faq on this site lists that Psilocybe Caerulipes as the only listed active in west virginia, but of course Pann Subb grows all throughout the country. so it is probobly one of those two. All the info is here man read the FAQ it is GOOD!!

Ok, i think they're p. caerulipes for sure now. the last picture on this here link looks almost EXACTLY like what ive got!  Two friends and i picked nearly 1000 wet grams just yesterday. Its gonna be a fun weekend! thanks guys  :thumbup:

Psilocybe caerulipes has a dark purplish brown spore print.
And they grow from wood debris.
And they are not all too commonly found...
So, finding 1000grams of P. caerulipes sounds a little out of the ordinary.

Oh and remember not to experiment with eating unidentified mushrooms.

i just got back from picking at the same spot and found another bagful - maybe 500 more grams. wish i could post pictures of these little babies : (
they are pretty elusive. the only place i've seen them in is the spot i've been to for a few years now. but they're EVERYwhere down there. so many you often end up stepping on the poor things by accident. its gonna be a REALLY fun weekend now  :cool:
