prolly wouldnt like the fact your dog is a carnivore (or part... i forget what its called when animals eat both meat and veggies?) - more specifically, that the poo is from an animal that eats meat (at least in its dog food). plus, poor doggy! to be part of a little experiment...

I am not even an animal lover and I think that is really fucked up.
Dont wanna step on any toes, but you might really get your dog sick, that is fucked.

i didnt mean spores will make you or your dog ill. you eat em when you consume the fruits of your labour, and theyre not what make you queasy (if youre one that gets queasy). they wont make em sick, lest you had a bunch for him to inhale or something.
thanks fuzzy for the word... always at the tip of my tongue something is.

Rehydrate your spores and shoot them into some substrate. I think you will find that far more productive.

The G.I. tract for carnivores and omnivores is far different than that of a cow or horse. First of all its pH is way different. More acidic I beleive. Then there are alot of spore un-friendly enzymes in the poo, as well as copious quantities of bacterium (e-coli ring a bell). Straw fed (sometimes grain fed) animals like cows and horses barely even digest the food they eat (ever looked at horse poo, it just looks like chewed up grass, not even digested). Thats most of the reason why they work. No you cannot use your poo, or your dogs poo or your cats poo. Go get some cow or horse poo. But your best just using regular jars.
Don't beleive everything you know.
