No.  Dog poo is not a suitable substrate or spawn.  Intestinal tracts of Omniverous and Carniverous animals creates an acidic poo and also contains non-friendly enzymes and bacteria.  Mushrooms will not grow in this type of poo, try cow or horse, or even zoo doo.

4 out of 5 inmates agree.  The FSR is better than being raped by your overweight roomate!;)

so if you ate nothing but grain for two days straight, took a dump, let it compost for a couple weeks and used that for compost, that would work?

when using human poo, it is very improrant that it comes from a person who has a higher social status. This way it will be coming from someone whos "shit don't stink" This helps the odor control when pasturising. I personaly feel that in the next few years human dung will be the norm in mycological propigation of P.cubensis, especialy with the vermiculite rescourses becoming depleted and pulled from shelves during the latest asbestos scares. We now just have to revise the P.F. tek to work with our new ecolgicaly balanced substrate. this is for reals! ...(reals with a "s")...

My Ex use to tell me I thought my "shit don't stink!"...
Of course, she also told me my farts could knock a buzzard off a shitwagon at 40 paces.
Guess I wont be building any useable dung!
Shame about the Doggy doo though... my Great Dane provides lots of it!

Stay away from carnivores nasty bacteria!

I've got nicotine stains on my fingers.
I've got a silver spoon on a chain.
I've got a grand piano to prop up my mortal remains

PEACE
