Well it has been a while since i have posted, and todays morel finds seemed like a good thing to share. Stumbled upon 15 lbs of the tasty guys this afternoon, and have a few digi pics to share..... more to share in the next few days. Thanks for looking

Thanks GG yes and there are more to come.... i'll post a picture of my haul thus far tomorrow.... i'm at 25 or so lbs. It's been a pretty good year so far... i can't wait for the chanterelles.

What latitude are you picking at?

I was planning on leaving Indiana on Tuesday and picking for 2-4 days.
I dont need morels for food, I need cultures, I need to clone them. I missed the entire season here because of school and exams.

Do you think I will still be finding any? I know that the Boyne City festival is this weekend.... will I have to drive that far north?

i am halfway between indiana and traverse city near lake michigan, i wouldn't think you would need to drive that far...... it seems are season has started late this year, so i would think mid michigan would be a good bet. also we have had a ton of rain so that always helps.... good luck.
