Why do you say that the Canadian government has no back bone when they denied permission to the Americans? Why Should Canada expect to get fucked by an Ally?...is it because the Ally isn't trustworthy?

Are you implying that it's somehow Canadas fault that the DEA decided to break the law while in Canada? How about the American government taking responsibility for the actions of it's agents?...but of course that wouldn't happen.

If The Royal Canadian Mounted Police changed it's name to something a little more official sounding America might take their words/laws/whatever more seriously. Even better yet, how about the RCMP work with the DEA more often? Until then we do what we have to do to fight this war on drugs.

yeah, it's just as easy as 'bringing an indictment' or 'getting some stones' when looking for justice vs. the US government. do you really think it's that simple? cause if you do you are living in a dream world. the US government does what it wants, when it wants and it will fuck over anyone in it's path with no reprecussions. it has the big money and big money ALWAYS WINS. period.

Very true. But a country like Canada can still stand up for itself, because we can also do things to fuck them over, we arn't totally powerless vs the US.

I do not think that's the point. Who upholds Canadian laws? Canadians right? The US should be taught a lesson for ignoring your sovereignty. Step up to the plate.

When my 5 year old steals a cookie before dinner and I do nothing she does not correct herself she steals even more cookies! And yes I would compare the US to a 5 year old.

Our government is a mess right now. Just yesterday the Prime Minister was on TV pleading for his career in the wake of all the scandals the Liberals have been through lately.

Though our government did say no to that "DMCA on steroids" bill that was passed in the US. At least we stood up for something in that regard, even if we are getting a bunch of flak for it from the RIAA now.
