Usenetserver.com is 15 a month.  30 day retention 4 connections at once(from a singleip).  I like newsleecher as my client althuogh i had issues cracking the newest version and went back to 1.0.

NZBzone.com is free so i use them for my nzbs.  Newsgroups are great.  I download any ntsc dvdr image i dont have :smile:.

yea, i've been to taht site before, but it didnt have nearly as many dvdr's there, i think the 1.25 is worht it... and newshosting.com is 15, 24 day retention. I've heard a lot of people say they prefer newshosting over usenetserver though.

you guys want to explain that to me in terms that i can understand...? i dont konow what all of these services are and how any of it works. its all kind of confusing. as to what this usinet thing is and how you burn the files you have onto dvd. ill have the rest of fear and loathing in the next day or 2.... and i want to be a ble to watch it on somthing other than the computer

depending on the file your downloading, you could make a vcd to play on a dvd player that supports VCD (Video CD).. thier like dvd's on CD-r's, but way less quality (or on a bunch of discs, so you have to swap them out)

to burn to a dvd, you must have a dvd burner, and then download dvds that are in an image format (exact duplicate of DVD disc in 1 file) or the VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD disc. (this is all the video files). They are about 4gb each, give or take a little. So downloading them on a slow connection takes forever.

you could down load those, and rip them to VCD yourself, but it would take a long time as well.
