Where are my shrroms? (PICS)

Hi there,

I cased 3 jars in soil and vermiculite using the Shroom Wizard / Spore House Tek. It's been well over a week and I am anxious to see some pins. Mycelium was growing on top within a day or two, bust changed very little since, I am misting, venting, giving it plenty of light, even cold-shocked it. Where are my shrooms????

How does that smell?

Your casing doesnt look healthy. Maybe its just the pics?

Wait another week and if pins dont form than something is wrong.

One more thing....When you mist your terrarium dont mist the casing layer directly. When you mist it directly you get water damage and when you get water damage your mycelium starts getting yellow.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small"><EM>Edited by cxz on 10/07/01 12:53 AM.</EM></FONT></P>

It's not nearly as yellow as in the pics. It smels nice, very mild no rotten or mildewy smell....

form the pic it looks like your container is clear. did you tape the sides .  it could just be pinning around the edges.

Those are healthy looking casings. You should see pins within a week. Patience........

just wait it put. They will come, just takes time.

for me once case it about a week settling in time, myc. continues to grow for a bit, then next week pins start, then about another week mushrooms are picked.

Not the quickest time period acheivable as parameters are ideal, but i got mushrooms, not loads, but i get em. SO sure you will do to, just wait.
