If you were an element, what you be, and why? What are the characteristics of your element?

I would be fire, burning to churn an outcome. When up at the top of the world, consuming the air at alarming rates. When down, but an ash in the wind seeking a spark to re-unite my fire to carry on.
I think the characteristics of my element are overbearing, powerful, prideful, weak when water is around, and strong with the wind people.
This is all speculation. Pray tell.

I would be the 5th Element, the Earth.... With a special relationship to the Sun and the Moon, making it possible for all of the other elements to have a "home".... Giving life, love, and healing wounds, producing metals and crystals, plantlife and fungus, sustaining the animal kingdom and man, connecting the air to the seas, home of the sands of time and giving a place for fire to live once again.... Rotating in synchronicity to view all stars of the universe at all times.... At the mercy of the Sun, but holding within the secrets to vibrational forces, gravity and magnetic forces.... With a core of solid liquid fire burning strong.... The foundation....

I'd be water. Water flows around and through. Someone one asked if I would rather be the water or the rock. I though "rock" at first. Then he explained that the rock appears very steady, until the water starts running past it, slowly eroding the rock until the rock was finally pebbles and ultimately sand.

you are all, in a way though, arent you. Earth, wind, water fire. The only one element anyway, Hydrogen, for the base of all others, you are made of stars, and in there is where we are all.

And a hard lesson for me. I tie meaning to things like they will become certain, just like they have in the past.
Can will really be set ablaze, and men rise from lower fates?
I rise in the face of my disaster and my self is my greatest fear.
To drown in the sorrows put out by the evening tide.
Lost, and dark, with but a spark to bring me clean.
A hard lesson to embrace, the multi quality of my personality.
And while I will be weak, those who hold me strong will aid my recovery. For when pride is laid down, so will mine be laid low.
I guess this sums up the stars in my case, the predestined of my class.
