Maybe he'll stay their.
The least we can hope for is he comes back more enlightened.

I hope he goes to the Red Light District, and a huge scandal ensues.

Perhaps they should wholly become the Islamic republic of the Netherlands. A lot of Dutch people are also pissed off about the murder of Theo van Gogh at the hands of Islamic fascists who might be happy about Bush's stance.

Of course being anti-bush doesn't mean your pro-terrorist... but from my vantage point it seems like alot of people from america and west europe are pro terrorist. I think there are more pro-terrorist westerners out there than we would like to admit.... hopefully im wrong.
BTW who was that dutch politician who got killed for being against islamic immigration to the netherlands? I wonder what the thoughts on this view are today. Are the dutch people still for importing muslims and their culture? I think the displacement of the dutch culture by islam would be a travesty for the whole world.

Doubtful. They are pissed off about his murder I'm sure. Any clear-thinking individual would see Bush's actions aren't going to stop Islamic fanatics. By playing lets-blow-up-the-ragheads Bush has probably displaced even more Islamic refugees for the Netherlands to deal with.

America supports Islam... nuff' said.
If the countries practices aren't akin to terrorism I don't know what terrorism means.

It's a rather misplaced notion to compare Nazism to terrorism, as they are wholely different situations.
The Nazi Party was a political party in Germany. It was centralized, they openly displayed their allegiance as a country and an army, and were part of a legitimate, unified form of government.
Terrorists are rather arbitrarily spread individuals who form small violent groups and strike at those who have oppressed them using any means necessary, whether it's by suicide or killing innocent civilians. They're not centralized, they're not in one country, they don't openly display their allegiance, and they work covertly. There's no way to just go to a country and bomb all the terrorists like we did with the Nazis, because there is no country of terrorists, and no open war being fought.
-------------------- So long as you are praised think only that you are not yet on your own path but on that of another.

No that's okay because you see...uhm...well... Oliver North was involved, and the Republicans say he's a patriot and good American and a hero, and uhm... well, summing like that. Yeah...that's it....

First time I've seen the Contras called terrorists. This was a scandal ONLY because Congress had specifically forbidden it, which was plenty bad enough. Would you also consider our support of the Mujaheddin against the Soviets support for terrorists as well? The Contras were legitimate contenders for control of Nicaragua and our proxies in the cold war against the Soviet Union, who were very active supporters of the Sandinista, no angels themselves.
I myself am no fan of O. North. The day I want LT Colonel yahoos making policy, whether I agree or not, is a day you can say I have stopped caring.

It's not the first time I've heard them called terrorists - and they were. So were the Sandinistas. Both were pawns in a Cold War game of chess, and neither the US or the Soviets had any business there. And, like any chess game, there were winners and losers, the losers primarily being the poor peons (as usual)....

As disparate as our politics seem to be, it's nice to see there are some things we can agree on...
