Does cobweb always have a greater rate of growth than cubensis on grain?

I have a bunch of jars that i knocked up the other day, but a bunch of shit went wrong prepping the syringe and it turned out to be sloppy. I inoculated anyway.

Now i see typical areas of mycelial growth from cubes, but in some small (isolated) areas the mycelium appears wispy and greyish. However, these areas do not grow faster, and perhaps even slower than the healthy thick mycelium.

At 25C, will cobweb always very quickly colonise the jar? Is it like cobweb to be a slow colonizer?

its not cobweb, it will quickly colonize the jar. Just give it a few days

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
