 Interaction question between Shrooms, MDMA, Paxil

I have been taking Paxil (Paroxotine) for about 2 months now and on a daily basis. I have both tripped on shroomies and rolled on X since being prescribed. I am about to purchase 2 hits of high quality MDMA and 2 1/8's of powerful mushies. I want to hippie-flip for the first time this weekend. My question is, does anyone know if taking 2 hits of MDMA with mushies and Paxil is safe? I don't really care about short term side effects, i just don't want to do anything that may permanantely damage me. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The only problem that I see would be an increased tolerance. There are going to be a lot of different things banging around there in your synapses fighting for those receptors.. I take paxil as well and I have noticed that my tolerance for psychadelics is pretty high. MDMA doesn't even work on me, even when I've taken two from the same batch as others who rolled nicely. So, I've given up on X myself for that reason. Not to mention that I have friends that used to take massive amounts of X and to whom it has done permanent damage. Please be careful with that drug, it's not as safe as it seems.

Two words: Serotonin syndrome. You don't want to be dosimg MDMA when you have an SSRI in your system. I just managed to get myself off of lexapro (escitalopram) after a 3 month long battle with discontinuation syndrome. SSRI's are not for me, that's for sure, and I really would advise you against taking mdma while on them. You are making your brain pump out lots of serotonin and preventing it from being reabsorbed. this can lead to dangerously high levels in your synapses.

Anyway, while the jury is still out about serotonin syndrome with SSRIs and shrooms, the evidence is clear with e. Mixing all three seems a BAD idea!
Because of the halflife of paroxetine skipping a dose won't help, just potentially give side effects and jeopordise your treatment.
And always proceed with caution mixing mental health problems with psychedelics!
BTW, some1 did you very very gradually taper when you came off escitalopram? Needs to be very slow, and you can even half or quater tabs towards the end....

I VERY gradually tapered. Took me several months to get off completely. For a while I had to take 1/8 tabs of the 10mg tabs. Just enough to ease the withdrawal to where I could function. Then when I felt normal on that dose I quit altogether and am doing great now. But man if the first couple months aren't tough!
