How long does this process take you?

What aids do you use if any?

Disc golf, less than an hour.

Smoking a bowl, 15 minutes max.

My unwinding lasts between 4:30 PM (around the time I get home from work) until whatever time I go to bed (11-ish). Music, beer, pot, Shroomery and sometimes good company aids me in my unwinding.

yeah...discgolf is kinda like regular golf, only with a frizbee and a chain link net (e.g. the 'hole')





it's pretty popular down here in the southwestern united states
(I'm actually kinda surprised you've never heard of it before...considering you're from AZ yourself)

frisbee golf is a blast. I first played it when I was liveing in phoenix. They have courses all over that city.

They have them set up in those drainage cannals they have all over there. The dry ones that only have water flow after heavy rains and shit. Look into it, I know I'm I right. It's fun times.

I don't know how many there are specifically (though, I would imagine it's probably more then six considering this city stretches out from the center in like twently some-odd miles) but I do know for a fact that there's one for sure in the southern part of Scottsdale (right where I used to live)

I used to play the shit outta that game  :smirk:
(not to mention all the money I made offa scrounging 'lost' discs outta the lakes)

MI has a ton of disc golf courses. I live a short drive from at least 8 good courses.

Phoenix Courses

Never played the one in Scottsdale, couldn't find the bastard. Buffalo Ridge is my favorite, but I play Conocido pretty frequently as it is the closest.

Sorry to jack your thread, Doobs.

After work I generally have a seat, remove any unnecessary clothing and drink a beer while checking on my downloads, emails, webcomics and forums. After that, it's into the shower. Total time takes from 15min to 1 hour.

Phoenix - Buffalo Ridge Park
Fountain Hills - Fountain Hills Park
Glendale - Thunderbird-Paseo
Mesa - Emerald Park
Scottsdale - Vista Del Camino Park
Tempe - Moore Park

here's a list for the area. I know they have some set up in those drainage things too. I'm not sure how to describe them, I guess they are not drainage canals, But say you have a park or a piece of undeveloped land, and there is a road that splits the land, instead of letting the water from heavy rains go over the road they will build these drainage paths that cut into the ground and go under the road to the other side. These get quite wide and fill in with a lot of water at times, but when they are dry there is grass in them, they are some of the greener areas in phoenix at times, for obvious reasons. They have these things all over town. I'm sure there is a simpole name for them and you would know in an instant what I am refering to, if you have'nt figured it out by my admitadly poor description. anyway, they have disc golf corses set up along some of these, I guess as a way to make use of land that is otherwise un-used during the many and long dry spells there. My first disc golf experience was at a course like this after school at glendale community college one day. It was only a couple years ago, I doubt they have gotten rid of them, just look around.

There is only one in a wash (drainage ditch). That is T-Bird/Paseo. Fun course. They were redoing it last I was there...

the one I'm talking about is apparently one of those non-standard 'drainage' parks...but if you ever happen to come across someone from Coronado High - I betcha a million dollars they'd know exactly which one you're talking about (considering it's like a quarter mile from the school itself)
