shroom wake and bake?
    #411184 -

I have always wondered what it would be like to wake up tripping but I have never had a chance. I want to know if anyone out there has ever eaten shrooms and taken a nap while waiting for them to set in. Have your practical joking friends ever dosed you with lsd while you were sleeping? Would it be like lucid dreaming? I bet it would be pretty wild to wake up with the sheets crawling and not know why! Please post if you have had any related experiences!

Ps what does this "LOL" stand for I am not up on chatroom slang.

"Have your practical joking friends ever dosed you with lsd while you were sleeping?"

I wouldn't call anyone that gave me LSD while I was sleeping an friend, not even a practical joking kind. That's pretty fcuked up. I have had some friend that thought they were going to fall asleep when taking shrooms. I get really relaxed that first hour, but I don't think it would be possible to fall asleep on shrooms and even more so on acid.

I've done Ecstasy right when I woke up before. I call it "Beans for Breakfast." That was an amazing wake and bake. One thing I've noticed with doing drugs right when I wake up is that I usually end up doing'em all day long.

Hold it... there's something wrong with this? Best way to have a vacation from the real world for a day, is to be under the influence for the whole day IMO. Easier to sleep at night that way I've found. And I agree dosing some one while they're sleeping definately would NOT be cool.

I agree that would be more of an option for an enemy than a friend, but some friends are stupid and don't realize the world of shit they unintentionaly put you in. I am extremely curious about this and want to try it. Maybey after school on friday when I have been up 35 hours doing a research project or something like that. When you have been awake and haven't had a chance to dream for a long time your mind dreams twice as much to make up for it. I would love to have the alarm clock go off in the middle of a level 2-3 trip and be able to maybe cary my dream with me into the real world. I will probablly try this soon and wan't some first hand experience so PLEASE POST if you have anything similar. I want a good experience and if this kind of stunt would go to hell I should know. Also a good friendly guide would be recomended to let you know you are not crazy.

SWIM has set his alarm for 6am, woke up and dosed some LSD and went back to bed. SWIM was woken up around 1 and half hours later tripping his face off. It can be kind of disturbing waking up to a visual onslaught though, better make sure you planned your day out well, as everyday normal tasks become increasingly difficult on LSD.(talking to family members, working, etc...)

I do recommend it however to anyone interested.

I wonder what cid does to your subconscious. If I had a anesthesiologist who could keep me asleep through a whole trip I would try it. Would it be like that movie Jakobs ladder?

jesus christ that movie was fuckin scary -- didn't scare me away from drugs obviously but the entire story is just fucked up

great ass movie tho -- one of the outtakes scenes is frightening (he is given the antidote)

It must be hard to trip if you anthropomorphize your shrooms.

I cant sleep while on shrooms.. nor can i fall asleep.. my mind doesnt let me.. so i've figured it out.. get some weed and smoke a lot of it.. then when you're at your burnt out peak take some shrooms and then go sleep. I'm gonna try that some time..

I will definately pursue this idea further even though it will probably scare the piss out of me and give me a bad trip. Exploring the universal consciousness is great but I want to explore me. When I dream its incredible because the places I see are perfectly suited for my ego. My dreams let me see my true fealings and wishes without all the everyday bullshit. I think that there are two doors of perception. One is labeled "out there" and the other is labled" in there". If anyone has an idea as to how I can pry the in there door open PLEASE let me know. I cant get all that lucid dreaming to work and meditation is pointless for a person of my mindset.
