melting point of plastic?

what do u guys think, would most plastic containers used for casings be safe to past. in the oven? i'm not sure what temp they generally melt at so just seein if anyone had any numbers or ideas, thanks

look on the bottom for a 5 in a triangle, they hold up to PC temps

most plastic can handle pasteurizingtemps, like 165-185

But often the temp in the oven is higher then the temp of substrate

i would advice what Prisoner says, find material that has the triangel or the "PP" sign
