Nihilist literature.

Can anyone here point me in the direction of some good nihilist literature/writer?

Fictional nihilistic writers (such as the author of 'Fight Club') or modern-day (late 20th century-21st century) nihilistic 'theory' writers are my preference, but early writers are also welcome (such as Bakunin).

You can't really put philosophers in a category, and to my knowledge there are no purely Nihilistic philosophers, but some that have Nihilistic undertones or beliefs are Nietzsche, Gorgias, Immanuel Kant to a lesser extent, and Max Stirner. There are many more, but I can't think of them. :wink:

^^Also there are no purely nihilstic philosophers because nihilism is anti-philosophy  :smirk:

Their are no purely much of anything as absolution is anything but pure... belongs in another thread though.

Chuck Pahlaniuk (author of fight club) is considered more of an existentialist author than nihilist overtones....btw.
