Nihilistic or Realistic?

Everything i ever do, will eventually become undone

Everything i put together, will eventually be torn apart

Everything that is Created, is eventually Destroyed

Everything that is Born, eventually Dies

Nothing lasts, Everything passes

Essentially, I Am Nothing



Are these nihilstic statements or just realistic statements?

Would it not be nihilistic to say 'everything passes, so fuck it all then'
but saying 'everything passes' is just stating a potent fact that many somehow ignore?

Really the mind that says the statement 'everything passes' is nihilistic, is the same mind that will eventually pass, so of course it will say its nihilistic!

The Real Truth is found in one place, in the RAW Truth, nowhere else
And the Real Raw Truth is, this planet will burn into ashes one day, as will everything you've ever done & everyone you've known & loved... it is all wiped away completely, that is the only thing that is 100% for sure



Seeing these things is not depressing, its liberating
To really see it & accept it is to let go of it all
To no longer be under its hypnotizing influence anymore
To be completey free
To discover the excellence of Nirvana


The mind perceives it as negative but its actually the brilliance of existence to see that none of ths can be held onto for very long

I find it comforting knowing that all of it will decay to nothing. The nature of the universe seems to be chaotic creation amidst perpetual destruction.

Many believe nihilists to be negative but in reality those folk are cynics.(I sometimes fit here:() So a nihilist would not say "fuck it". They would acknowledge his or her impermanence and make the most of this most temporary experience.

So a true nihilist is a realist.

So I agree with your opening statements but would change the last sentence. "Essentially I am energy at play as matter"

Lots of people also forget that the literal translation of Nirvana is 'extinction'

I know he is good at profitting from other peoples spiritual insights, but i didn't think he was telling all the facts so boldly like i just did?

It seems then that he gives seminars on how to be powerful, then tells people they have no power! :lol:

I guess a nice big white shiny smile can deliver the harsh truth & make a few bucks at the same time :grin:

Once I realized these things I felt more liberated as well. I felt like I didn't have to live up to anything or feel like I had to really accomplish anything that I didn't feel like doing. I live for myself now, I guess.
