having a seperate political and philosophical forum makes no sense

I usually need to talk about both at the same time. Should I post philosophically in the politics forum, or should I bring politics to S&P?

spirituality and politics/law are totally different. Why would you want these in the same forum?

When the subjects mingle, you can feel free to post in either forum... but the Politics Forum is not a very spiritual place... separation of church 'n state and stuff. S&P is probably better for such discussions. Just keep the post semi-on-topic.

It's when I wish to discuss recent political events interpreting them in a philsophical way. The politics forum seems to want to stick with concrete discussions of political machinery, while S&P seems to want to remain focused on abstractions. I prefer to combine the two, discussing politics and current events in a philosophical way. I suppose S&P will be the better forum for this as the forums are now.
