Anyone have a good internet source for straight ahead CaCO3? I've only found 50# bags online, and can't seem to find anything but hydrated lime locally...

One the vendors sells Cal Carbonate, got 5 lbs of the stuff. Works well. This stuff works pretty much just as well:

gratefulredhead-Have you tried using baseball line marker chalk?I bought 50lbs for $15.00 at True Value.Any garden supply shop stocks limestone,have you checked them all in your area?

saw that line marker chalk, but it didn't have a ingredient list, so i didn't go for it! cool that it works!

yup--a good link. i've posted links to it many times myself. this present thread investigates calcium carbonate sources, various preparations, and where to buy a bit further.
