calcium carbonate online?
    #6051309 -

i'v been doing searches on calcium carbonate/crushed oyster shell or oyster flour with no success. Only thing i found were tablet supplement calcium carbonate(would this work?) Though im guessing it's available elsewhere online in larget bulk for cheaper prices...but damned if i can find out where. Anyone know?

Anyone know...or of other products that are essentially CC that i could use in any casing mix that calls for calcium carbonate.

thanks

Oyster Shell Lime
Gypsum
Coco Coir
Worm Castings, etc.

This place is a cultivators dream. Shipping is a bit pricey the further east you get from Cali, but these prices make up for it in most cases.

Yes, crushed drywall will work for gypsum as long as it's actually gypsum board. It'll say gypsum board on the sheet.

You would have to make it 2 separate orders. They only sell spores ala-cart b/c anything else be construed that you might grow with the spores

Calcium hydroxide is a chemical compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. It is a colorless crystal or white powder, and is created when calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is slaked with water. It can also be created by mixing an aqueous solution of calcium chloride and an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. A traditional name for calcium hydroxide is slaked lime, or hydrated lime.

Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound, with chemical formula CaCO3. It is commonly used medicinally as a calcium supplement or as an antacid. Calcium carbonate is the active ingredient in agricultural lime. It is a common substance found as rock in all parts of the world and is the main component of seashells and the shell of snails. It is usually the principle cause of hard water.

make sure your getting the right thing man..
hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide) is used to blance the ph when using peat moss
calcium carbonate (aka. gypsum, chalk, or drywall) are used as ph buffers, to help add calcium to substrait and to keep grains from sticking together.
lime is way stronger then chalk when it comes to blancing PH.. so just make sure what ever tek your looking at you got the right stuff for it's measurments
