1. i think that you can tell when a cake is fully colonized!!!

2.ya, no need to sterilize (unless you didnt sterilize the jiffy mix either?)

3.the birdseed will form a strong cake, and youll have to pull the peices of mycelium apart like you do with the rice cakes. atleast thats what it did when i used the half pints, i would think that it would be the same with the pints??

it begins with an "m" and ends with an "ushroom"
