I've never seen anything like that.

you should keep the floor there a little cleaner I'd say :smirk:.

coprinus seems like a likely genus, if you want to confirm that, take a sporeprint and look for black spores.

Sadly these mushrooms are gone now, a friend of mine discovered them when he rented that basement. So I don't have anything eles to go by except that pic. Spores were black though.

they kind of resemble Coprinus, or Inky Caps

are they growing from carpeting?

As you can see there is a nasty spill of stuff..what stuff I have no clue. There's quite a few of them numberwise so there was enough nutrients in the spilled substance(s) I guess.

mmm...I wonder what would happen if someone ate those...yummy!
