Hi I wonder if you guys could help me
Were can i get perlite besides garden centre's and hardware shop's I have Tried some of the biggest in my country with no hope :(
I live in south africa any other places i can try

possible substitutes for perlite;

sawdust from a type of wood that has little or no smell, some pet stores sell aspen shavings for people who are allergic to pine and cedar.

wood pulp, in usa there is a type of kitty litter, good mews brand, which consists of peletized wood fibers, the pots at the nursery that are made of paper fibers, etc.

sand.

cotton balls, sterilized
cotton rags, such as old t-shirts, sterilized

somebody else help out here, i'm sure there are dozens more.
