Marijuana Seed Substrate

The Pics:

above: 2 jars of seed / verm mix / H20 mix

The Mixture:
equal parts (1/3 cup of each for 1/2 pint) Verm, H20, and MJ seed

Innoculated (didn't have time until a couple days later) with 2cc Cambodian spore solution from Ralph.
I will update tomorrow with current progress pics.
(the above pics are about a month old so you'll be able to see some interesting mycelen growth)

That a cool idea, i almost kinda had. this will be interesting. Too bad the seeds are super low in THC.
I was thinking about making a substrait with leftover leaves. I'd be interesting to see if the THC ever made its way into the shroom. Not that you could tell without labratory tests, i mean, when your fucked, your fucked.


I think its dumb when people say video games effect kids negatively.
I mean, if Pac-Man effected us, we'd all hang out in dark rooms, muching pills, and listening to repetitive music.

WOW YOU MUST SMOKE A LOT OF SCHWAG. :)

There is no thc is seeds, thc is located exclusively in the glandular trichomes and glandular trichomes develope everywhere on the plant EXCEPT the roots and seeds. The most abudant concentration of glands is located on the female flowers, just for reference. The shrooms wouldn't assimilate the THC in some magical way, that is ridiculous. MeltingPenguin is a tard.

I have a TEK for growing morels in mj seed, they aren't super low THC, they have Zero THC. I got the TEK off some site while surfing yahoo. I've heard you can use it as a substitute for rye grass seed.

First of all i'd like to point out that MJ seeds are an excellent source of protein and some oils. I figured the shrooms MIGHT like it, so this is my test. It only took me a month to collect that many (I have a few friends that contribute to the seed jar) and i smoke a 1/4 of middies every few days so the seeds add up fast. As for planting them, I might do that when the jar fills up again, but I really wanted to try growing shrooms on them =)

Its hard to tell from the pics but there is a decent amount of growth inside the substrate (i've shaken it a couple times). I'll post again when they're 100%.

sensi = sinsemilla...

however, i think that marijuana seeds are an EXCELLENT choice (by theory that i know about).

its not the THC which will give you the high alkaloid content, but the HIGH PROTEIN value that cannabis seeds can have.

i believe that for one to increase alkaloid content, you do not infuse the substrate with psilocyn/cybin, but with "raw" elements that the mycelia uses to manufacture the alkaloid (proteins)...

if im right you should be really happy with the results of your experimentation if all goes well.

keep us posted.

This works better then flax seed but the trick is to get shelled hemp seed. I use hemp nut. The seed shell is too thick for mycelium. Check for hemp nut at www.hempfood.com

You know instead of saving your seeds in a coffee jar or using them for substrate...plant them all over your city....drive by a nice field tossing them out your window.

You know that if all pot smokers out there did this the U.S. would be plagued by mj plants and the government would have a really hard time erradicating them.

Excellent, Karen. You understand. Where are all these people coming from that smoke buttweed like that? Don't get me wrong, a little buttweed is fine if nothing else is available. The least they could do is plant their seeds though.
