do different species of mushroom give different trips? I've only ever had P.C. (which give me great times all around). How potent are other mushrooms compaired to P.C.

There are a lot of far more potent species of Psilocybes, such as Flying Saucers (Azurescens) adn Wavy Caps (Ps. Cyanescens)

NO, NOT THE WAVY CAPS! evil potent little fuckers ...

from my experience the only main difference besides potency is the visuals. i haven't had any "spiritual" differences between the shrooms i've had, but visually they were quite different.

the cyanescens seem to be, on average, just giving evil mind-fuck trips, though they have A LOT to say. i've only had one experience with them and though visually i only got the exact same screaming faces all over my vision, my head was just fucked. i was playing T Hawk 2 on the Dreamcast and I couldn't get out of the fuckin half pipe ... hah. i forgot how to move my fingers, and after the trip came down I felt a surge of "revelations" go through my head. some of them were true, but most were just tripped out shit that I THOUGHT made sense but i was just trippin ...

Experiment and see for yourself everybody responds differently

It must be hard to trip if you anthropomorphize your shrooms.

We're all MADD here...

MM.. I agree with the nastyness of Psilocybe Cyanescens - you did read my post ' Ps. Cyanescens trip?' with a full description of 3 dried grams of the nasties - hellish - but in lighter doses these mushrooms can be quite spiritual.
Ive found Ps. Subaeruginosa to be totally different - very light headed and a bit bodyish and at times a little frustrating in that you feel that you are normal, but cant do anything because your facilites are tripping out on you...
Ps. Australiana to be by far the most visual- at high doses i could not see things, only through things... Ps. Cubensis are all pretty similar to each other as far as ive found ... Usually quite nice, but nowhere like Australiana or the almighty Ps. Cyanescens
