The French, champions of cannabis smokin'
    #4026656 -

as a frenchman myself, i'm proud to declare that the french are the biggest cannabis smokers in europe!

Indeed, the last study of the Observatory of drugs reveiled that there are 850,000 french (out of 65 million) that consume cannabis (mostly hash) 10 times a month. That's the european record.

well, that was just to let you all know...

how big are americans at cannabis consumption?

American blow that number out of the water. That's only due to our larger population, however that may beat us out if you set up a ratio/rate (not doing that for you :P)

ya 850.000 actually sounds a like small number to me, i'd say its more like 1.5 million. Personally each time i meet a person my age here, it turns out they're smokers as well.

like a week ago, i saw a guy i had only seen once when i was 11 becuase his parents are my parent's freinds, and it turned out we just smoked some joints together.

Yea, surveys will never represent an entirely accurate number. They can also be skewed in so many ways.

I would say that overall, Canadians probably blow the rest of world out of the water per capita when it comes to pot smokers. But of course I may be biased on that...

There is no way to control the sale of mj...they would never be able to tax all the mj being grown.

They make too much money from mj being illegal.
Courts, police, prisons and jails, lawyers, fines, etc...they all would lose money if mj was legal.

its fucked up!~

I think the answer to that question lies with your government and the considerable pressure it puts on other countries that don't agree with it.
