totally awesome suggestion

i think there should be a page where we can go and it has a list of all the people who are currently banned, and it should have how long until they get unbanned.

do it, please. :mrt:

well, it could just have the date/time of unbanning next to each listed name. don't tell them they have to write new scripts for this or they may not do it. I agree it would be nice to have a banned members list, what if you are in the middle of a trade or something and someone stops PMing you because their banned and you don't know what's happening? that's not cool.

I am against this idea and I'll tell you why:

In some twisted way, I'm sure that more than one person will get their jollies from having various accounts of their's up on "the wall" .. banning should be nobody's business but the person who was banned and the staff of this website. If they want to know how long their ban is, they only need to attempt to log in and it will tell them. If they have gripe, they can create a support ticket at www.shrooemry.org/support

oh. ok but what about the issue I described about trades? I assume banned members cannot send nor recieve PMs. Perhaps leaving PM's activated for all but the more serious violators/permabanned members would be a good way to keep trades going strong.

at least, and I'm surprised it wasn't already implemented long ago. People should not have to hear it through the grapevine when it comes to the trades they are involved in.
