I love asparagus so much. The heads are the best part. The woody stem is only so-so.

My flavorite way is just to put them in a frying pan with a little bit of water and a good amount of butter and steam the fuck out of them.

I might grow some asparagus soon, I hear you can harvest a plant for up to 20 years. Can't say i'm a fan though, my parents love asparagus rolls etc

Looks good. I like them wrapped in bacon, prosciutto, or pancetta.

I'm patiently waiting for it to spring up around here, I can pick amazing amounts in only hours in the ditches only a few miles from my home. Morel season is on the way also!

Wow you find asparagus growing wild? Awesome, I love it, I have to buy it though it sux cuz it's like 2 bux for a little pack.
