Found these on the side of the road.. Pls Help ID

Whats up, I was driving down the road today wishing I would see some beautiful shrooms growing on the side of the road and sure enough I saw em.

These kinda look like cubes but then again they don't. The most prominent features are the blueing gills and ring around the stem. They smell pretty potent but I'm not sure exactly to call the smell.

Please help me ID these bad boys! Thanks alot.













I am sure that they are all the same type of mushroom.

Those are Green Gills, Chlorophyllum molybdites. They are poisonous.

Are you kidding ME!!! I already touched them, but I washed my hands afterwards! Thanks for the advice though. This site always comes through for people. What a great community! pce

You can touch them without worries, just don't eat them. They have caused fatalities.

guys believe it or not i have eaten those before. the worst thing about it was that i actually paid for them. i did get really sick and puked half the night. not a good experience. but i lived! :cheers: good thing i know what to look for now thanks to all of the kick ass info on the shroomery!

A lot of people will tell you it's the most common poisoning in florida. They mistake it for Cubensis (but that seems ridiculous!!!)
